Is Love and Death starring Elizabeth Olsen on Netflix? (where to watch)
Elizabeth Olsen is trying her hand at playing the accused axe murderer Candy Montgomery in the new HBO Max series Love and Death. Not too long ago, Jessica Biel also played the character in the Hulu show Candy.
Candy Montgomery was accused of murdering her best friend, Betty Gore, in 1980 in Wylie, Texas. Lily Rabe plays Betty in the new series, and Jesse Plemons plays Betty’s husband, Allan Gore.
Love and Death have received mixed reviews from critics, with praise for the actors, particularly Olsen, but some criticism regarding how the show tries to paint Candy as an empathetic person while making Betty seem like a villain, despite the fact that Betty was the victim of a brutal murder. Find out where you can watch the new series below.
Sadly, no, Love and Death is not on Netflix. The Jessica Biel series Candy is also not available on the platform. Netflix doesn’t have any content about the Candy Montgomery case. The only Elizabeth Olsen project currently available on the service is the 2018 movie Kodachrome starring Jason Sudeikis and Ed Harris.
The good news is that Netflix has tons of true crime docuseries available, so you can find plenty of options on the service if you are a true crime buff.
The only place you can watch Love and Death is on HBO Max. The crime drama miniseries premiered on April 27, 2023, with its first three episodes. New episodes will be released each Thursday until the finale on May 25, 2023.
HBO Max has two different tiers available. You can either pay $9.99/month to watch with ads (or $99.99/year) or watch everything without ads for $15.99/month (or $149.99/year).
