Miles Teller Siblings: Dana Teller, Erin Teller

Miles Teller is an American actor best known for his roles as a jazz drummer boy in the 2014 film Whiplash and as a pilot alongside Tom Cruise in Top Gun: Maverick (2022). Teller, who was born on February 20, 1987, spent his formative years in the Pennsylvania and Delaware suburbs.

As a high school student, Miles Teller developed an interest in acting and music and joined the drama club at his institution. Miles Teller also picked up the skills to play the guitar, piano, drums, and alto saxophone.
Teller graduated from Lecanto High School in Lecanto, Florida, and earned degrees in screen acting from the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and the New York University Tisch School of the Arts. After graduation, Miles Teller began appearing in short films and made his acting debut in the 2010 film Rabbit Hole.
