What is the song in the Stranger Things season 4 trailer?
The countdown to Stranger Things season 4 is underway and we’ve just checked yet another major milestone in the journey off our list!
After a series of teasers, Netflix has finally dropped the feature-length trailer for its most anticipated release of the year. We’re, of course, referring to the Stranger Things season 4 trailer which dropped today and did not fail to disappoint!
The extended trailer takes fans on quite a rollercoaster ride leaving us with quite a lot to unpack. Even after watching the trailer several times on repeat, you’ll still find new hidden moments you missed during previous watches because there is just that much going on.
There is a lot to unpack from the trailer, including the trailer’s featured song which is a real earworm and likely has viewers heading to Shazam in hopes of identifying the track.
In the feature-length trailer for Stranger Things season 4, the song featured in the background is “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)” by Journey. It’s a perfect pairing for the intense trailer and the Netflix editing team did a brilliant job of tying the song into the trailer’s major moments.
If the use of “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)” in the trailer is any indication, we could be in store for an amazing soundtrack filled with other 80s hits from some of the era’s biggest artists! Let’s hope Netflix finds ways to utilize iconic hits into the show’s score because the use of this legendary Journey track was the perfect hype song for the intense trailer.
We’ll just have to wait to see when Stranger Things season 4 part 1 drops on Friday, May 27!
